KIE students constructed toilets at GS Busanza

WITH support from different donors, a group of 165 students in the Evening program at Kigali Institute of Education has constructed about 12 toilets rooms mounted Rwf 12 Million at Groupe Scolaire de Busanza as a way to improve Hygiene and sanitation of the school.

Students were present during the inauguration of constructed toilets

The School is located in Kanombe sector of Kicukiro District.

Most of the students who joined hands to construct those hygiene facilities came from departments of Accounting and Finance, Management as well as office Administration and management.

According to Chief students in the Department of Accounting and Finance Gilbert Kubwimana they decided to construct toilets at GS Busanze after undergoing a course entitled “Project Management and Project implementation” where they acquired skills that helped them during the construction process.

The Head Teacher of GS Busanze commended students for their significant support adding that the activity strengthened the good relationship between the school itself and students of KIE.
